Baraka Books is a Quebec-based English-language book publisher specializing in creative and political non-fiction, history and historical fiction, and fiction. Our belief is that books are a haven of freedom and that they remain the foremost vector for change.

Bunim & Bannigan Ltd, founded 2005, is an eclectic publishing house with offices in Charlottetown and Montreal. We offer original Canadian fiction and non-fiction and translated Russian and German literature.

Concordia University Press is a non-profit publisher of scholarly books that share substantiated, insightful, and nuanced information and arguments with diverse readerships. Specializing in the humanities, visual arts, and social sciences, we are a small press with a big impact.

Corner Studio was created during the summer of 2020 as a place of design, print and paint … from traditional publishing via environmentally friendly print-on-demand poetry, memoirs, local history, and children’s books, to artist catalogues, limited edition or hand-bound bookarts including collaborations with artists and printmakers. A sketchbook series & pairing of guestbooks with paintings are ongoing projects.

Daraja Press is a not-for-profit publisher that seeks to reclaim the past, contest the present, and invent the future. “Daraja” is the KiSwahili word for “bridge,” and as our name suggests, we seek to build bridges of solidarity between movements and emancipatory struggles.

Founded by native Montrealer Chris Oliveros in 1989, D+Q has steadily grown over the past two decades to be the world’s leading and most respected publisher of quality graphic novels and comic books by cartoonists from around the globe.

Established in 1978, Guernica Editions has published over five hundred titles from around the world that reflect its commitment to a social agenda with a special understanding of different cultures.
