Shoreline

  • Small press – tremendous books !! This is the challenge Shoreline has had with each new publication. Shoreline began its storied life in 1991 beside the Ottawa River in Sainte-Anne-de Bellevue, with a focus on first-time authors. From these writers have come many memoirs, also poetry, fiction and non-fiction. Digital versions are available for some of these books.

The internship program has seen many young people spend time at the press, learning and inspiring with their work ethics. Some Shoreline books have been translated, some have been used in university courses, some have had two or more printings, some are bilingual, some are out of print – including one that was launched at the Canadian Consulate in Mexico. They cover many settings outside Canada and many inside. All take pride of place on the bookshelves of Shoreline readers.
