During the month of September, the National Assembly of Québec’s Committee on Culture and Education held special consultations and public hearings on the regulation of retail prices of new printed and digital books; the AELAQ was invited to present its views on the issue to the hearing committee. Board member Robin Philpot traveled to Québec City to speak with the committee on behalf of the AELAQ.
