It’s the 2016 edition of the Holiday Pop-Up Book Fair!
Presented by AELAQ, the Atwater Library and Computer Centre, and the Quebec Writers’ Federation, this book fair brings together dozens of English-Quebec publishers and writers for a holiday bookstravaganza. Meet local authors, hear them read from their work, browse hundreds of books, buy a few and get them signed–just in time for holiday gift-giving. Discover and support your local literary community!

3:30-4:30: Mystery Loves Company: Hardboiled readings from four mystery writers: John Farrow, Michael Blair, Peter Kirby, and Bill Haugland. Hosted by Anna Asimakopoulos.
5-7: Festive Fair Launch featuring Aislin (Terry Mosher). Come raise a glass to local lit! Meet and mingle with writers and publishers. Wine and cheese will be served. Sponsored by Penguin-Random House.
10-11 AM: Children’s Corner: Join children’s authors Jennifer Gasoi, Monica Arnaldo, Elise Gravel, and Sara O’Leary for story-time. Hosted by Raquel Rivera, the event will feature readings, music, activities, and healthy snacks (and coffee for the grown-ups). Sponsored by Livres Babar Books.
